Hi Friends!

February 6, 2019 in Decor

This post may contain affiliate links. If you click on these links and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission- at no extra cost to you.

I want to welcome each every one of you who have joined me here on my new blogging adventure.

I am so excited to have one place to be able to share my DIY’s with you and my love for design and home decor. All sprinkled in with a little bit of motherhood and a whole lot of real life along the way.  I have so many projects that I have already done and many more coming up- that I can’t wait to share with you.

My goal is to inspire you to decorate your own home. To create a warm, cozy and beautiful space perfect for you and your family – and to do it on a budget. I not only want to share my love for home decor {both seasonal decorating and everyday styling}, but also show you how to shop your home, and create beautiful spaces on a budget.

So a little bit about me… I am the wife of a law enforcement officer who has been protecting and serving for over 27 years. We have two beautiful boys, my oldest will be 8 in February and my youngest is 2.5 years old.

I started a home decor account on Instagram a little over 2 years ago. Initially it was a place for me to keep all the decor accounts I followed and loved in one spot and also to share some of my own DIY’s. I never would have imagined it would have blossomed into what it is now.

When we purchased our fixer upper forever home a little over a year ago… all the creative juices started flowing even more than usual. The entire home needed to be updated… every. single. space. The projects have been getting done… on a budget and lots of DIY’s. They are getting checked off one by one, to create the home of our dreams, that is perfect for my family.

Our Southern style farmhouse features a covered front porch. It has a grey exterior, white trim, black door and black shutters. the house sits on a hill, and features southern living style with an , american flag, rocking chairs, farmhouse lighting, and boston ferns. as it sits among a shaded, wooded lot.

I am so excited about this blog, and hope you find it a great resource for you as you create beauty –on a budget- in your own home.

Let’s get creative together!

XO – Tiffany

Hey! I kinda found you on accident while trying to get ideas and inspiration on what to do to update my home. I love all the farmhouse freshness and am very anxious to get started. I have a 23 year old young man and twin 18 year old girls. Time has flown😢 All still home at this point as when we moved to this house everyone needed their own room! Once these birdies have left the nest, we will continue living here so I’m getting antsy on staying busy when they all leave for college and starting on their own. Probably TMI but just feel comfortable with telling you this. Bless your husband for giving so much to protecting others. Looking forward to seeing what your blog has to offer. Good luck on this venture!!

This little bucket hack can help stop mosquitoes b This little bucket hack can help stop mosquitoes before they even hatch. LIKE + mention: BUCKET for the links. Mosquitoes were making our backyard miserable at night, so last year I finally tried the mosquito dunk bucket hack- it worked so good I made three more this year! I used a 5 gallon bucket with a lid, drilled several holes in the top to help keep kids and pets out, then added water, yard clippings, and a mosquito dunk. Mosquitoes are drawn to the bucket to lay eggs, but the larvae never survive. It’s inexpensive, easy to maintain, and honestly one of the best backyard hacks to make summer evenings better. * the lid is optional, but I added it to keep my kids and dog out of the buckets.••••LinkDM *144* backyard entertaining, patio season, outdoor living, mosquito control, family friendly backyard, pet friendly mosquito solution, DIY mosquito bucket, backyard hack, summer backyard tips, outdoor hosting, cottage backyard ideas https://liketk.it/6cEqC
