Having a farmhouse sink had always been on my wish list for my kitchen. As I was renovating my kitchen, I knew that a beautiful white farmhouse sink would be the perfect finishing touch to complete my kitchen renovation.
However, I had a hard time finding a farmhouse sink that would work with my existing laminate countertops. It was not in the budget to replace our countertops at this time. I struggled to find a farmhouse sink that would work with the laminate…. that is until I stumbled across the Josephine drop in sink from Sinkology.
The Josephine Drop In Sink gave me the farmhouse sink look AND size that I loved and enabled me to use it with my existing laminate countertops! Oh, did I mention it was super affordable and easy to install!?!? Win Win!!! The Josephine can also be installed as an undermount if you do have solid surface countertops… so it is perfect for EVERY kitchen!
I installed the Josephine sink and the Pfister Zuri Faucet a little over two months ago and I am still love with them both. Although the sink has the same exterior footprint as my previous tiny stainless steel double bowl had, the Josephine sink has a very deep and wide interior and paired with the Pfitster Zuri faucet, they allow for ease of filling tall pots, pitchers of water and the sink can easily hold all the pots and pans waiting to be washed! (It even holds my three year old- he “tested” it out before we installed it.)
Not only is the size impressive, but the durability is amazing too. It has withstood all that my two boys, husband and myself have challenged it with. No nicks, dings, or scratches. It also cleans up so easily and has not stained at all. I use gentle non abrasive cleaners or you can also use the cleaning kit made by Sinkology.
I’m absolutely in love with it! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a farmhouse style sink that is durable, easy to install, and can be used with laminate countertops. Sinkology is an amazing company with excellent customer service also. A great company, gorgeous sink and amazing quality… the perfect touch to complete my kitchen remodel.
